    Mastery of elementary skills and facts, understanding of logically correct arguments, abstract thinking, and problem solving ability. Not intended as preparation for MATH 110 or for courses numbered above MATH 110. Not available for credit to students who have previously received credit with a grade of C or better in a MATH course numbered above 110 except MATH 201. Solution techniques covered include the method of characteristics, separation of variables, generalized eigenfunction expansions, and the Fourier integral and transform.
