ANTH 503 - Peoples and Cultures of Africa South of the Sahara

Descriptive and analytic examination of representative African societies dealing with their culture, histories, and economic, political, and social organization, as well as religion and arts. Contemporary problems of culture change and social transformation within the context of decolonization.
