COMD 602 - Oral-Motor Function in Children: Assessment and Treatment

Identification of and intervention for disorders of the oral-motor system affecting feeding, prespeech, and speech. Topics include motor development for feeding and speech, identification of problems within the motor system during feeding and speech production, treatment strategies, transdisciplinary roles of the speech and language pathologist in assessment and treatment, and family service delivery.

Prerequisites & Notes
PRQ: Admission to speech-language pathology graduate program or consent of school. CRQ: COMD 687 or consent of school.
