TECH 245 - Pollution, Pestilence, Prevention, and the Cost of Doing Business

Study of environmental and occupational issues with an impact on the safety and health of employees and the general population. Analysis of case studies to evaluate potentially adverse outcomes (injury, illness, environmental impact, etc.) in relation to existing legislation (EPA, OSHA, HSA) and the existing public policies. Economic impact of adverse environmental and safety issues in the private sector. Technology majors cannot use TECH 245 for general education credit.
