PHIL 431 - Contemporary Ethical Theory

Study of the major problems and theories under discussion by specialists in ethical theory. Emphasis on meta-ethical problems and the analysis of ethical concepts. Readings selected from such philosophers as Toulmin, Nowell-Smith, Baier, Hare, and Rawls.

Prerequisites & Notes
PRQ: 6 semester hours of philosophy at the 300 level or consent of department.
