COMD 430 - American Sign Language I

Development of receptive and expressive skills in American Sign Language. Emphasis on developing skills in a non-English syntax system and communication with deaf and hard of hearing people in activities of daily living. Three hours of lecture and one hour of laboratory. Not recommended for freshmen and sophomores.
