Electives from physics and other related sciences. At least 10 semester hours must be 300- or 400-level PHYS courses. Students should consult with a departmental adviser for assistance in selecting the appropriate sequence of courses to constitute a track of study in one of the following areas of applied physics: acoustics, computational physics, geophysics and astronomy, health physics, or materials physics. List of courses appropriate to each of the above tracks are available in the departmental office, the department undergraduate Web site, and from departmental advisers.
