NURS 679 - Internship: Adult Health

Clinical internship with focus on the management of common health and illness conditions in primary care of young adults through older adulthood. Emphasis on integration of health promotion, health maintenance, preventive measures, and health restoration in assessing, managing, and teaching culturally diverse adult clients and families. May be repeated to a maximum of 12 semester hours.

Prerequisites & Notes
CRQ: NURS 625 or NURS 626 for adult nurse practitioner and adult clinical nurse specialist students; or NURS 675 for family nurse practitioner students; and consent of school.
