WGSS 324 - Gender and STEM

Crosslisted as GEOG 324X and BIOS 324X.  Examination of the historical underrepresentation of women and other minoritized individuals in STEM fields. How gender and intersecting social categories have influenced the relationship between power and knowledge production in the context of the natural, physical, environmental, and medical sciences. How science has historically been used as a mechanism of oppression and a tool for advocacy.
