LTDH 467 - Communication and Curriculum for Preschool Students Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Designed to provide techniques for the development of speech articulation, oral and/ or manual language, prereading and prewriting skills with preschool students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Emphasis on integration of communication (including auditory training and speech-reading) and cognitive curriculum.

Prerequisites & Notes
PRQ: COMD 403 or LTLA 403X, LTDH 365, LTDH 382, TLSE 447, junior standing, GPA of at least 2.50, and successful completion of the PPST/Praxis I or the ICTS Basic Skills Test and the Syntax Examination for the emphasis in deaf and hard of hearing.
