NUTR 636 - Motivational Interviewing and Health Communication

Strategies for assisting individuals with improving health by facilitating behavior change, with an emphasis on motivational interviewing, will be explored. Students will examine ethical practices in nutrition counseling and actively apply counseling strategies through simulations. Students will also develop effective health communication skills, including designing and delivering presentations and health communication.
