KNPE 410 - Southeast Asian Martial Arts

The martial arts of Southeast Asia are steeped in the culture and history of their homelands. They involve practical fighting skills (e.g., weapons, grappling, and striking) developed, tested, and passed down through generations. Some have become integrated into the national physical education curriculum and adopted as the national sport. This one credit hour class will introduce the history and practice of these arts.
