NURS 309 - Pathophysiology and Pharmacology I

Examines pathophysiology and pharmacology through the dynamic relationship between disease(s) and medication interaction across the lifespan. Pathophysiology is the study of disease, while pharmacology is the study of chemical substances’ interactions with living organisms and the disease state. An emphasis is placed on the nurse’s understanding of the relationship between disease(s) and medication interaction, cultivating the safe use of medication therapy.
