NURS 518 - Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics in Advanced Nursing Practice

Principles of pharmacology for the primary care of individuals across the life span. Emphasis on prescribing and monitoring procedures for the various drug regimens used to treat common health alterations. Identification of risks associated with drug reactions and interactions and with self-medication. Selected clinical experiences.

PRQ: NURS 512 or consent of school.
