Middle School Endorsement in Health Education

A middle school endorsement in health education requires 18 semester hours of course work in health education, 3 semester hours of course work in middle school philosophy, curriculum and instructional methods, and 3 semester hours of course work in educational psychology focusing on early adolescents. To be eligible for the endorsement, a student must currently possess educator licensure in another subject area. A student seeking a middle school endorsement in health education should plan a program of study with the faculty advisor in health education.
