Community-Engaged Courses

Community-Engaged courses (CE) integrate community engagement into the curriculum and classroom experience. These courses help students apply their learning to real-world contexts, and to benefit the community beyond the classroom. Students participate actively in community settings through these courses which are offered in a variety of majors and minors. Community-engaged activities vary by the focus of the course, ranging from direct service to consulting to research. Such activities also create value for community partners.
