Accelerated B.S./M.S. Program in Statistics

This undergraduate program can lead to an accelerated graduate degree, with approval from both the UG advisor and graduate program director. Please review the Graduate Catalog as needed. Admission

This accelerated sequence leads to both the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Statistics. Students who wish to complete this program may apply to the department during their junior year. The program is open to undergraduate majors in statistics who have completed at least 90 semester hours of undergraduate course work including all general education requirements and all major requirements below the 400 level. Students who have met these criteria may apply for admission to the M.S. program in Statistics under the special provisions of the accelerated degree program. Students must complete their applications to the M.S. program according to the procedures of the Graduate School. Admission to the accelerated degree program is contingent upon departmental approval.

Curriculum

Students accepted into the accelerated degree program will matriculate in the graduate program during their senior year. Up to 18 semester hours of graduate courses may count towards the undergraduate degree. All graduate course work must be approved by the department.
