SESE 540 - Foundations of Special Education

Overview of characteristics and abilities of diverse and exceptional learners including contemporary philosophy regarding the nature of differences; evidence-based instruction to promote inclusion of learners with diverse needs in multicultural settings; behavioral objectives, instructional plans, and individualized education programs; adapting materials for diverse needs in general education and targeted intervention settings; and fair and appropriate evaluation.
