GEOG 593 - Computer Programming for the Geosciences

Programming techniques used to process and visualize geospatial data. Programming in Python, basic program logic and control structures. Integration of Python with open source scientific programming libraries, including 2-D and 3-D visualization of geospatial data for applied problem solving. Prior programming experience is not required. Lecture and laboratory.
