To complete the statistics or mathematics option, students are expected to complete all six required courses. Requests for course substitutions must be submitted to the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Department of Economics.

Six or more semester hours in the minor must be taken at NIU.

RECOMMENDATIONS

The Department of Economics strongly recommends that students planning to pursue an advanced degree in economics complete ECON 360, ECON 361, ECON 390 & ECON 390A, ECON 393, ECON 490, and ECON 491.
