STAT 417 - Applied Statistical Learning

Crosslisted as ACSC 417X. Modern statistical methods for supervised and unsupervised learning with an emphasis on model assessment, selection, and regularization. Practical problems are solved using statistical software packages. A particular emphasis is placed on high dimensional problems.

PRQ: STAT 410 or consent of department.
