ACCY 467 - Information Systems Auditing

Study of the auditing of accounting information systems with a focus on control and security. Topics include information technology governance and risks, the information technology audit process, information technology frameworks and information security frameworks, and evidence-gathering activities including the use of automated tools and techniques. A student may not receive credit for both ACCY 467 and ACCY 667.

Prerequisites & Notes
PRQ: A grade of C or better in each of the following courses: FINA 320, MGMT 335, MKTG 295, OMIS 338, and ACCY 360. A grade of C or better in ACCY 375 (for ACCY majors). A grade of C or better in either FINA 391, MGMT 346, or OMIS 442 (for ACCY minors).
