ARTS 431 - Advanced Printmaking


Comprehensive advanced study of print media in all of its forms at the advanced level. Builds upon the Introduction to Printmaking (ARTS 330) course by introducing larger scale, color projects and mixed media applications in lithography, relief, intaglio, and stencil techniques, while expanding the conceptual discourse and personal artistic voice of the student. Discussion and studio work in various phases of the process with emphasis on concept development. Course may be repeated to a maximum of 9 semester hours.
