Principles of exergy analysis; second-law efficiency of thermodynamic cycles and processes; generalized thermodynamic relationships; mixtures and solutions; chemical reaction; phase and chemical equilibrium; overviews of contemporary applications utilizing engineering thermodynamics concepts, including power generation, sustainable energy management, and energy storage.
