MUSP 223 - Saxophone: Primary

Emphasis on performance of appropriate literature, with proficiency requirements at each level. Fundamentals of pedagogy and additional literature addressed in required weekly convocations. One semester hour credit per semester for students in the B.A. degree program; 2 semester hours credit per semester for students in the B.M. music education or jazz studies emphasis; 4 semester hours credit per semester for students in the B.M. performance emphasis. May be repeated.

CRQ - One of the following: MUSE 324 (only available to jazz primary instrumentalists), MUSE 330, MUSE 331, MUSE 350 (only available to jazz primary instrumentalists), MUSE 360.
