TECH 441 - Engineering Hazard Controls for Industrial Operations

Advanced study of controls for environmental, safety, and health issues including machine safety systems. Design of exhaust hoods, ventilation, and related air emissions controls. Emphasis on OSHA requirements of other safety controls and applications of these requirements to various industrial processes.

PRQ: UEET 120 or MATH 155 with a C or better, PHYS 150, PHYS 151, or PHYS 210 or PHYS 253, TECH 231 and TECH 245, or consent of department.
