MEE 401 - Internship


Academic credit for the student seeking professional mechanical engineering experience. The learning experience is supervised cooperatively by the department and approved organizations. A wage-earning position, for a minimum of 320 hours (roughly 8 weeks at 40 hours per week), must be obtained by the student with the guidance and approval of the department’s faculty coordinator. The student and faculty coordinator must prepare a statement of educational objectives that will become part of the student’s record. Interim reports and a final report describing the learning experience is also required and will be placed in the student’s record. S/U.

PRQ: Any four MEE courses at the 300-level, and consent of the department.
