TLEE 333 - Prior Learning Experiences Portfolio Assessment: Elementary Education

Candidate will develop a standards-based portfolio with evidence of prior learning aligned with professional teaching standards, instructional theory, and high-leverage practices in elementary education. Evidence of learning includes documentation of experiences from settings such as workplace, community agencies, service organizations, and public and private schools. Candidate will create a portfolio based on that evidence. A maximum of 16 credit hours may be awarded for the creation of the portfolio by a faculty committee in the elementary licensure program based on quality and type of evidence, and equivalent teaching standards aligned with the evidence provided by the candidate in this prior learning experiences portfolio. Course may be repeated for up to 2 credit hours.
