PHIL 427 - 19th Century Philosophy

A critical exegesis of selected writings representative of significant philosophical developments in 19th century thought with emphasis on post-Kantian idealism. Texts chosen from the writings of such philosophers as Hegel, Schopenhauer, Kierkegaard, Comte, J. S. Mill, Nietzsche, and Mach.
