NURS 704 - Population Health


This course examines population health principles with a focus on health equity, social determinants of health, and policy advocacy. Students will evaluate population health data to identify disparities, design evidence-based interventions, and develop advocacy strategies to address social determinants and public health emergencies. Emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration, the course prepares students to lead population health initiatives by integrating clinical prevention, health promotion, and self-care management strategies. Through policy analysis and leadership development, students will influence equitable healthcare policies and advance health equity.
