NURS 602 - Advanced Pathophysiology and Clinical Decision-Making


This course explores advanced physiology, pathophysiology, and genetics in nursing practice across diverse populations and the lifespan. Using a systems-based approach, students analyze disease mechanisms to inform evidence-based care. Emphasizing social determinants of health, the course integrates culturally relevant prevention strategies and examines genetic and environmental influences on disease. Through case-based learning, research analysis, and simulations, students develop critical thinking skills for advanced nursing practice.
