NURS 652 - Primary Care: Adult I


This course introduces the foundational knowledge and clinical reasoning skills required for the primary care management of common adult health conditions. Emphasis is placed on preventive health, differential diagnosis, and evidence-based care for conditions affecting the HEENT, pulmonary, renal, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, endocrine, neurological, and integumentary systems. Students will develop the ability to apply clinical guidelines to support screening, disease prevention, and chronic disease management while considering the impact of social determinants of health. 

Prerequisites & Notes
PRQ: NURS 605 and NURS 606 and NURS 607 and NURS 608; or consent of school.
