NURS 743 - DNP Project Practicum


This practicum course supports the development and implementation of the DNP project through practice experiences, interdisciplinary collaboration, and reflective learning. Students will design and lead projects that improve healthcare outcomes using person-centered, evidence-based approaches. Emphasis is placed on resource management, sustainability, and continuous quality improvement. The course fosters leadership and professional growth, preparing students for future practice scholarship. Course grading: S/U/IP (Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory/In Progress).

Prerequisites & Notes
PRQ: NURS 700, NURS 702, NURS 704; and Consent of School.

Credits: 1-3 credit hours per semester. Students must complete minimum of 6 credit hours over minimum of 3 semesters prior to graduation. May be repeated as needed to meet needs of project and minimum clinical hours required by AACN.
