CHEM 576 - Chemical and Biochemical Foundations of Biotechnology

Overview of chemical and biochemical concepts essential to use organisms and biomaterials for the benefit of humankind. Complements other courses that focus on genetic engineering techniques or the business, legal, and regulatory aspects of biotechnology. Experience in General and Organic Chemistry required; Biological Chemistry preferred.
