NURS 655 - Primary Care: Adult Health II


This advanced course builds upon foundational primary care knowledge to address complex, comorbid, and population-specific health needs across the adult lifespan. Students will explore specialty areas such as men’s and women’s health, LGBTQ+ care, substance use disorders, and progressive management of chronic conditions including psychiatric, cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurologic, and autoimmune diseases. Emphasis is placed on advanced clinical decision-making, pharmacologic management, and patient-centered care in diverse populations.

PRQ: NURS 605, NURS 606, NURS 607, NURS 608, and NURS 652; or consent of program
