PHHE 530 - Teaching Health Education Curriculum & Methods in PK-12

This course examines the design and implementation of comprehensive, standards-aligned health education curricula for PK-12 learners. Emphasis is placed on advanced curriculum development, pedagogical theory, and culturally responsive instructional practices that address the diverse needs of students. Particular attention is given to evidence-based teaching methods, the integration of national and state health education standards, and strategies for addressing sensitive and complex health topics within the school setting.
